February Favourites - Travel Instagrammers.

Travelling isn't just a hobby of mine, it's a passion. I'm constantly dreaming about exploring new cities & countries and rediscovering those that I've already visited & had the chance to explore. The list of places I want to visit is endless. From beach getaways to city breaks, warm summers to cold summers, busy cities to empty towns... I want to visit them all! There is so much to see, it's just so hard to keep up! One way I like to keep track and make lists of places to visit is through Instagram! I follow a lot of people that Instagram their travels for a living which has to be the ultimate dream, right?! I follow a lot of people and thought I'd share some of my favourites with you all.

February in Photos.

February is a month that has bought a lot of change for me, with the biggest being moving half-way across the world to Perth, Australia. I had no plan, I just knew that I was going to head off on an adventure. I don't even know how long I'm going to be here for, which meant I had to say my goodbyes to some of my favourite people and also my favourite places.

Coco Melody.*

Having just moved to Australia, I'm still in the process of meeting people and making new friends. Over the past few weeks I have met or come across quite a lot of people my age or just a few years older who have their dream job, a great house and are settled down & married. How did they all seem to manage that one?! I clearly should have moved to Australia a few years ago. It seems that weddings are all the range at the moment. Not only does everyone here seem to be married, but someone who is like a sister to me is getting married some time in November, so wedding preparations are firmly under way, especially dress shopping! We've had a look at some over on the Coco Melody website...

Style Crush #2 - Lea Seydoux.

I've always admired Lea Seydoux's style, but the recent(ish) James Bond press tour and premieres made me love it that little bit more, something I didn't think was possible. It's not just her red carpet style that I love though, it's her everyday style too. This is probably down to the fact that she is from France and I love everything the French wear (I will never be over how good they all seem to look in yellow). She's also probably the only person that could get away with wearing pyjamas in public and look good while doing it. Her style is a little more girly than that of most of my other celebrity style crushes, but her style still has an edge to it. Let's have a look at some of my favourite outfits...

A Day Out in Hamstead Heath.

Just because I'm now in Australia doesn't mean I can't reminisce about my wonderful time in London, especially my last week, which was spent exploring and visiting the most famous sites, including Hamstead. My friend, Amita, and I headed there one day after a three hour wait in A&E. Admittedly this probably wasn't the best thing to do having popped my knee in and out of place, but my time in England was running out and I was determined to make the most of every moment.

Things to Know About London.

Now that I've spent a few weeks in Australia, I've been reminiscing and thinking about my time spent in London. I was there for four months, and it was the first place I lived on my own as I headed there the day I moved out. Though daunting to some, I found it to be a great experience and I definitely learnt a lot while there. I thought I'd share some of the things I shared with you, in case any of you are planning to move there yourselves or even just heading there for a holiday.

There Will Always Be Paris.

The photos included in this post were taken during our last few days in Paris. With our Eurostar being at 3pm, I (lovingly) demanded that we left the house at 7am, desperate to make the most of our last few hours in my favourite city, and what a great few hours they were. We ended up starting off at the Notre Dame, where we caught the sunrise and a man gave me a bracelet, before heading to Bastille and Victor Hugo's house. This was followed by a quick Parisian breakfast of coffee and croissants. Though I'm heading off to Australia soon, I'm already trying to fit in my next trip to Paris.

Let Them Eat Cake.

During my most recent trip to Paris, I was lucky enough to once again be able to visit Versailles. Being the massive History nerd that I am (#LetThemEatCake), visting Versailles was one of the things I was more looking forward to, not to mention the fact that I'm a massive fan of architecture and design, so Versailles is really my dream place to visit. If I don't get to have my wedding reception there like Kimye, then I will be very annoyed. Here are some photos of me attempting to look cultured whilst wandering through the Hall of Mirrors, The Gardens and The Battles Gallery...

A Snowy Day at Richmond Park.

You know those people who make you forget to look at your phone and who make time fly? Ariadna is one of them. A prime example of this is how we went out for dinner together a few weeks ago, ready for a good old catch-up after two weeks apart (sob), only to end up spending an entire four days together. Our first day consisted of going out for dinner, Leonard DiCaprio waving at us and us not realising because we were too busy talking (classic us) and then walking straight past Tom Hardy without realising until it was too late. Those last two things made us both very angry. Day 2 was spent getting all dressed up, heading out for a night out and then staying up until 5am before rolling out of bed at 10am for day 3, which was brunch at Granger & Co. and a walk around London. Our final day was spent at Richmond Park, which I thought I'd share some photos of.

A Day Out in Chelsea.

My days out and adventures with Amita always seem to end up with us wandering through streets or areas lined with houses we can't afford and only dream of living in. Think Chelsea, South Kensington, Notting Hill, etc. We'll happily stroll along, admiring and taking photos of everything. Here are some photos from one of our last days out together before I left for Australia and, be warned, they're mainly of doors and floors (#IHaveThisThingsWithFloors... No, I really do).

I'm in Australia!

So yesterday, after four continents, too many time zones and 56 hours of no sleep, I arrived in Perth, Australia! It feels a bit weird to be saying that and I couldn't actually believe I was actually here. I felt like I was in such a daze but that might have something to do with the 56 hours of no sleep that I mentioned. That was definitely the way to beat jet-lag though as I then slept from 11pm to 9am, refreshed and ready to start my first proper day in Australia.

London Memories.

So... I kind of move to Australia tomorrow. I loved my time in London so much, more so than even I expected. I enjoyed new experiences, new food, many adventures and met people who I know I will be friends with for life. I can't believe just how much I grew to love and care for them, despite having only known them all a few months or, in some cases, a few weeks! Like I said, I know we'll be friends for life and I'm so grateful to them for making my experience an unforgettable one. I'm already counting down the days until my next adventures with them all. For now though, I thought I'd share some of my favourite memories from my time in London.

Paris in Photos: Part 2.

Paris really is one of the photographable places in the world. Wherever you look, there is something or someone to capture, though everything is of course even more beautiful in person. You just can't quite capture the true beauty of it and I'm guessing that's because of the atmosphere around you. Even so, I still ended up taking over 3000 photos (I know) so trying to choose some to feature on my blog was very difficult indeed. In the end I chose, not the prettiest or most Instagram worthy, but those that I felt really represented my time in Paris and the moments I felt happiest. Enjoy!

February Wishlist: Essie Nail Polishes.

My nail polish collection is a bit out of hand but that doesn't and won't stop me from buying even more. Though most of my nail polishes are from KIKO, a brand I'm looking to explore further is Essie. I don't actually own any nail polishes from Essie, which is quite surprising considering just how many others I own. I had a look online and put together a list of five that caught my eye.
